We use a unique method of mulching the weeds through (weeder/brush cutter) in the soil to form humus content which nourishes the coconut trees. We do not use external organic fertilizer to the soil.  There are also other species of trees also grown side by side along with the coconut trees in our farm, the shredded leaves of which forms a valuable mulch for the soil.
